Christmas and New Year at the Best Western Royal Hotel, Jersey

Christmas Eve, Monday 24th December 2007

Should you be fortunate enough to arrive early on Christmas Eve, we recommend a visit into town to admire the decorations or wander to the main square to see the Nativity Scene & Christmas Trees. Afternoon tea will be served with hot Mince Pies and fresh Jersey Cream between 3.00pm & 5.00pm in the lounge.

6pm-6.30pm
Please join our Management team in the Hotel bar for a ‘Welcome Drink’ and an opportunity to meet the other guests with whom you will be sharing this festive season.

6.30pm-8pm
Dinner will be served in Seasons Restaurant. Please see the Restaurant Manager who will organise tables for those wishing to be seated together. Dinner will be followed by an evening of entertainment in the Lounge.

Midnight
Mulled wine will be served in the main reception area around the Christmas Tree. Should anyone wish to attend a local Church service, details can be obtained from reception.


Christmas Day, Tuesday 25th December 2007

Good Morning and a very Merry Christmas to you all!!

8.00am-10.00am
A full English Breakfast will be served in Seasons Restaurant with a visit from Father Christmas himself!

10am-12noon
For those of you who feel energetic enough and weather permitting, join us for a stroll along a country lane with a stop for some refreshments at a local Inn before returning to the hotel to enjoy a warming glass of fruity punch and an opportunity to relax before lunch.

12.30pm-1.30pm
Traditional Christmas Lunch with all the trimmings will be served in Seasons Restaurant. Should you have any special dietary requirements please let us know in advance.

3pm
If you would like to listen to the Queen’s Speech, coffee, mince pies & petit fours will be served in the Lounge.

7pm-late
A buffet will be served in Seasons Restaurant followed by musical entertainment.


Boxing Day, Wednesday 26th December 2007

8.00am-10.00am
A Full English Breakfast will be served in Seasons Restaurant.

9.40am
A ‘Mystery Drive’ has been booked for you with a local coach company. Please see reception for ticket prices. Reservations should be made in advance to avoid disappointment. For those of you who wish to stay in the hotel for the morning, games, jigsaw puzzles and playing cards can be obtained from reception or the bar.

1pm-1.30pm
Luncheon will be served in Seasons Restaurant. Please note there will be no lounge menu available during this time.

7pm
Enjoy a candlelit dinner in Seasons Restaurant followed by dancing to our resident DJ.

Thursday 27th December 2007

8.00am-10.00am
Full English Breakfast served in Seasons Restaurant. Today is free to explore our beautiful Island. Please see reception to arrange coach trips, car hire or advice on places of interest.

7pm-9pm
Dinner will be served in Seasons Restaurant. Join us after dinner for an evening of entertainment.

Friday 28th December 2007

8.00am-10.00am
Full English Breakfast served in the main restaurant. Today brings our Christmas programme to a close. Bar snacks are available in the bar area from 12.00pm to

1.30pm
For those of you departing today, check out time is 10.30am but please contact reception where you will be informed of where you can leave your luggage and make use of the hotel’s facilities.
